Sound View gave me a home when my real one was suffering. The people I became close to are the best people I know. Even though I've moved across the country, whenever I feel alone I have my SV family. Those relationships have been with me for years and gotten me through everything. I learned to be a better person there. While I am no longer religious, I still see and feel all of the love and goodness come from the land I have grown to call home. Whenever I am homesick, I think of camp. I still know all the songs and skits and those memories keep me up when I am at my lowest. The people, the love, and the nature are what I hold and treasure and will continue to do so for as long as I live. I feel so sorry for any child that might not get to experience a fraction of what I gained from my time at Sound View. Please make the right decision to keep camp running.
